My life would be so much easier if I knew what caused attacks of dizziness and/or blacking out. If they could be prevented--or at least predicted... well, things would be much easier.

Next time I say I will definitely do X, Y, or Z on a certain day, please feel free to laugh at me.

I don't usually black out. My body gives me enough warning that as long as I can lie down or at least get in some position where blood doesn't have to flow up to get to my head, I can stay conscious. But the constant threat of blacking out on days like yesterday really doesn't help when I'd wanted to get out and do things.

On a more serious note, I hope it quits doing that soon. Hugs.

It'd be so nice to have it stop.

I've generally got enough warning that I don't actually black out, as long as I'm someplace where I can lie down (or at least get my head below my knees) quickly. But yeah, low blood pressure that likes to drop on occasion. Not fun.

CB, could you by hypoclyceminc?

Or have blood pressure problems?

Or did the evil Whack A Mole Man bop you on the head?

Seriously, try to write down what you were doing or feeling before any incidents. Keep a food log.

If you had the money I would say doctor visit.

I've got blood pressure problems (on the low side with occasional huge drops), though I wouldn't be surprised if I tended to hypoglycemia as well. The drops in blood pressure seem to be pretty unpredictable--I've tried correlating them with the foods I eat and other factors, and while they're more likely when I'm dehydrated or exhausted (surprise surprise), they don't seem to be related to anything else.

Doctors never were helpful with this, even when I had money. Tried a couple different medications which sometimes stabilize blood pressure, but they didn't have a noticeable effect.

Sounds like you are in the ballpark with the reasons behind the dizzy stuff. Just be vigilant about the precursors and perhpas you can head it off at the pass.

That happened to me for a couple of years. I think it was low blood pressure.

I used to carry a bottle of Bach Rescue Remedy with me and put a few drops under my tongue, when I felt the edges of my vision closing in on me and starting to buzz.

I know my blood pressure is the problem, or at least a big part of it. I'll keep the remedy in mind--I could certainly use something that helps.
