On the 23rd, penguinboi posted a list of five favorite smells. Here are the 5 I came up with:

1. Old trees after spring rain.
2. African tea roses.
3. Potatoes & onions fried in olive oil, with freshly-ground black pepper on top.
4. Sweet-smelling spices like cinnamon.
5. Fires with apple wood.


While bored last weekend, I kept writing out the first word that came to mind for each letter of the alphabet. I threw all my lists away, but jeweldevil, having the same idea yesterday morning, posted his. So I decided I should post some as well.

My first attempt at the alphabet list yesterday began with apple, banana, carrot, dark chocolate, eggplant, so I figured I should go eat something and try again later. Here's my list this evening:
