Insert moaning here

I was fairly cheerful, thinking that the migraine was finally easing up on me yesterday. But apparently it decided today that it was going too easy on me, and it has been attacking my head with a sledgehammer for the last few hours. While I'm avoiding bright lights, closing my eyes doesn't help. I'm hoping that the traditional migraine nausea doesn't kick in too much, because I'm really hungry and shaky at the moment. I'm also alternating between sitting upright and curling into a groaning ball of pain. This is not a fun day.

Since I didn't have any tea this morning, I'm wondering if I'm having caffeine withdrawal on top of the migraine. Am eating pasta & drinking tea now in hopes that something will help. I never used to suffer caffeine withdrawal, but I've been drinking more tea lately than I used to, so addiction isn't out of the question. I love tea, but if this is what addiction is like, I want no parts of it. Though i'm pretty sure that when you're having a migraine anyway, it isn't a good time to quit cold turkey.

Interesting weather here. The high temperature so far has been somewhere in the mid-to-upper 70s, but the warm front is being chased by an angry cold front which will give us temps in the 40s tomorrow. I wish I were up to going for a walk in the wind.

I don't know if it was the food or the tea, but I do feel a little better now. Still not a happy camper, but I'm noticeably less miserable.
