Why is it that I regularly put a mug of water in the microwave, come back upstairs to lose myself in more LiveJournals, and find myself back downstairs just before the microwave begins beeping; yet my time sense is pathetic enough that I didn't get around to flipping my calendar page from October to November until this morning?
And why is it that hearing Kalinnikov on the radio makes me squee as if I hadn't heard this music in ages, when, not only can I listen to both of his symphonies on CD any time I like, but the first movement of this piece is one of the tunes most likely to be running through my head at any given moment anyway?

I was going to write you a letter to go along with the CD (and maybe print out another Minions cartoon) but if I package it up now without the extra things, and I have enough energy to swing by the post office while I'm out libraring, I can send it today.
Ooh. Which means I ought to get this nice warm cat off my lap and get stuff together and hit the road. *thunk* Ow.
