Downstairs there's a Halloween party with lots of lights and decorations and people in pretty costumes. I'm not really up to socializing much tonight, but I did go down to chat for a little bit. When one of the partiers showed off his costume consisting of a name tag with the word "GOD" on it, I tried to tell him he was really Oz. He didn't seem to get it.

If it makes you feel better, he seemed to be friendlier with the guy wearing horns and a "SATAN" nametag. (Joan was elsewhere, and the Virgin Mary was busy mixing drinks.)

or your neighborhood does brisk sales in nametags and religous paraphenalia 'round this time of year. ;)

Not pulling your leg, though I'm not sure if anyone here was Joan of Arc or not. However, we did have people claiming to be God, Satan, Mary, and Jesus--and the Mary and Jesus costumes were actually pretty good, though the crown of thorns looked deeply uncomfortable.
