hummingwolf: Drawing of a creature that is part-wolf, part-hummingbird. (Hummingwolf by Dandelion)
I had a bunch of thoughts today, but they all melted and leaked out of my brain, colorful swirls dribbling on the sidewalk where they curdled in the sun and attracted swarms of flies and ants which found no nourishment their digestive systems could process and so expired there on the pavement where they were later sniffed at by overheated birds... or something like that, but probably less interesting.

Spent 4 hours in air-conditioned places. Walked roughly 3.5 miles total. Read bits of lots of things. Resisted the urge to buy potato chips--ate large quantities of blueberries instead.

Read the weather forecast. Groaned. Preserved for posterity )
So anyway, this week's weather might seem seasonable for some of you closer to the equator, but isn't going to be much fun for those of us in the DC area. (For those of you in Celsius-producing regions of the world: 100 degrees Fahrenheit is 37.7777778 Celsius; 110 F = 43.3333333 C.)

I want snow.
