For those wondering
Monday, February 28th, 2005 04:54 pmNo, I didn't go to the ER for the continuing oogieness. I did, however, pick up more prescriptions, and spoke with my doctor on the phone who'll have free samples of something else for me whenever I can go to her office to pick them up. [Edit: I'm too tired to rewrite that sentence so it'll make sense. You know what I meant, right?]
Yes, I know, the idea of going to the ER today had much to recommend it. Maybe I'll regret the decision not to go. Then again, if the newer meds don't help any, I can still go to the ER after today--I just will have to deal with getting bills I can't pay (unless there's some way to get the medical assistance back).
Tried getting hold of someone at social services today, but the only thing I got to talk to was a voice mail recording. Their office was closed, or the phone system wasn't working, or they knew I was on the line and decided to make me wait--whatever the reason, nobody was talking to me.
On the plus side, snow is very pretty.
