Favorite post-debate comment so far comes from frawst: "See this whole shebang wasn't going to change my mind. Unless maybe aliens clawed out of Kerry's belly and started eating Jim Lehrer. Which would make me undecided."

In a different post (wherein he used the lovely line "You are not the Last Starfighter"), frawst had said, "Adults accept that this world is not binary." Which makes this post and associated comments even more amusing.


I don't know what I need to do today, but I need to do it anyway. I hate that.

Over in comments in cogsci, someone asked, "Can we get the presidential candidates to take a Voight-Kampff test? Or a Turing test, for that matter?" A respondent linked to an article where candidates for mayor of San Francisco had been given the Voight-Kampff test. Now I'd dearly love to see it applied to at least five different presidential candidates. (Oh, and the VP candidates, though we already know Cheney's a replicant, don't we?)
