Favorite post-debate comment so far comes from [livejournal.com profile] frawst: "See this whole shebang wasn't going to change my mind. Unless maybe aliens clawed out of Kerry's belly and started eating Jim Lehrer. Which would make me undecided."

In a different post (wherein he used the lovely line "You are not the Last Starfighter"), [livejournal.com profile] frawst had said, "Adults accept that this world is not binary." Which makes this post and associated comments even more amusing.

I don't know what I need to do today, but I need to do it anyway. I hate that.

Over in comments in [livejournal.com profile] cogsci, someone asked, "Can we get the presidential candidates to take a Voight-Kampff test? Or a Turing test, for that matter?" A respondent linked to an article where candidates for mayor of San Francisco had been given the Voight-Kampff test. Now I'd dearly love to see it applied to at least five different presidential candidates. (Oh, and the VP candidates, though we already know Cheney's a replicant, don't we?)
