Over in comments in [livejournal.com profile] cogsci, someone asked, "Can we get the presidential candidates to take a Voight-Kampff test? Or a Turing test, for that matter?" A respondent linked to an article where candidates for mayor of San Francisco had been given the Voight-Kampff test. Now I'd dearly love to see it applied to at least five different presidential candidates. (Oh, and the VP candidates, though we already know Cheney's a replicant, don't we?)

The Chaney Edwards debate will be interesting mostly because I can't imagine two more different people.

Or replicants. If they're replicants, they seem to be very good ones.

Seriously, I'm looking forward to that debate myself. Here's hoping it's more watchable than this week's debate was.

Well, we know Cheney is android indeed-- now how about us ourselves? (Bows to PKD)

Hmm... I can't recall the last time I dreamed of electric sheep. How about you?

No ( laughs ), me neither.

I strangely think the Veep debate will be better. Still not voting R or D.

It's got to be better. Dubya's really been making my flesh crawl lately.
