Today's Silly(?) Quizzes

hummingwolf: Drawing of a creature that is part-wolf, part-hummingbird. (Hummingwolf by Dandelion)
I tried to resist posting quiz results so soon after my last Stuff & Nonsense post, but even people who normally don't do quizzes have been showing off theirs recently and I just couldn't take it anymore.

The first quiz is most definitely silly: The Guardian's Lit Pop quiz.

"You scored 9 out of a possible 10
Born to be Wilde
Congratulations. You are a literary genius. You clearly have spent far too many warm summer days indoors writing frightening verse to a buck-toothed girl in Luxembourg. Go out and get some fresh air and buy a Gareth Gates record. (and if you don't know what we're talking about, you're a lot less sad than us)"

Frankly, I'm surprised I did so well on that one. And miffed that they had to throw in gratuitous Nik Kershaw insults (here the hummingwolf pauses to turn up the volume on her well-loved 15 Minutes CD).

Two more quizzes, the ones taken by people who normally don't talk about their quiz results:

Purgatory

"You have escaped damnation and made it to Purgatory, a place where the dew of repentance washes off the stain of sin and girds the spirit with humility. Through contrition, confession, and satisfaction by works of righteousness, you must make your way up the mountain. As the sins are cleansed from your soul, you will be illuminated by the Sun of Divine Grace, and you will join other souls, smiling and happy, upon the summit of this mountain. Before long you will know the joys of Paradise as you ascend to the ethereal realm of Heaven."

The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to Purgatory!
Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
LevelScore
Purgatory (Repenting Believers)High
Level 1 - Limbo (Virtuous Non-Believers)High
Level 2 (Lustful)Low
Level 3 (Gluttonous)Low
Level 4 (Prodigal and Avaricious)Very Low
Level 5 (Wrathful and Gloomy)Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis (Heretics)Very Low
Level 7 (Violent)Low
Level 8- the Malebolge (Fraudulent, Malicious, Panderers)Moderate
Level 9 - Cocytus (Treacherous)Low

Take the Dante's Inferno Hell Test

Okay, in the interests of full disclosure let me just take this moment to say that that low score for "Lustful" is a bit misleading. I'm not even pagan, but all this talk about Beltane seems to have done interesting things to my hormone levels.

Not that I'm likely to do anything to ruin my pure & innocent rep anytime soon.

Not that I don't want to.

::whimper::

Ahem. On to our other quiz:

According to the Spirituality Type test, my path is the Path of Devotion (Augustinian Prayer). Hmm... seeing the results other folks got, I'm not in bad company at all. At least it didn't try to tell me I should be a monk.
