Tuesday, July 2nd, 2002 12:29 pmSo earlier this morning I was reading some conspiracy-theory stuff, the kind of wild scenarios whose existence in reality would require the U.S. government to have massively detailed information about everybody which was freely shared amongst all the federal agencies in some amazingly organized fashion.
When I called up Social Security today to find out the status of my application for SSI, I discovered that not only did they have no record of my last application, but they didn't even know where I'd been living these last few years.
And conspiracy theorists wonder why most everybody laughs at them.
