Is there any place that the name change doesn't turn up? There was a post about it on a cryptozoology community I read, for heaven's sake. I mean, it's dumb, yeah, but that's not enough to count it as a cryptid.
Oh dear. I wasn't even going to comment on it--everyone else is, so why should I bother? It's ridiculous. Now the paranoid part of me is wondering what this story was supposed to distract us from, you know?
i just think it's so dangerous and foolhardy for people in our government, for corn's sake, going out of their way to alienate parts of europe. hey, we don't need no steenkeeng allies! bonehead congressmen. :(
