Dear Diary
Dear Diary,
Today was another one of those low-level bad days. I'm really rather sick of those days. Not a terribly high level of pain, but not much of anything fun either. Too tired to go anywhere, too unfocused to read a book, too likely to pass out if I try sitting upright long enough to watch a movie, and too restless to sleep, I spent too much of the day either lying in bed trying to sleep or sitting here at the computer getting caught up in little web pages quickly forgotten once visited. All I'm really sure of is that politicians are doing things they shouldn't be doing; but I knew that already, didn't I?
On the plus side, the weather does not feel like July today and we probably won't be having record high temperatures anytime in the next week (though, given how difficult this year's weather has been for the weather prognosticators, I'm not placing any bets). I have enough Honeycrisp apples, Asian pears, dark chocolate, and multiple kinds of tea-like beverages to carry me through the week, or at least till the next farmers' market. And after years of not producing sound when it should, my AM/FM/shortwave/longwave radio has been working fairly reliably for the last few months, so I might even be able to get back into the habit of listening to a music collection not my own. Let's see what the local popular music station is playing... right, three seconds is enough of that for tonight.
Anyway, I'm here, I'm hoping to get back into the habit of writing LJ/Dw entries, and I'm terribly sorry that this one is so boring. There's always tomorrow, eh?

have you ever played around with blip? you can be a dj and listen to others...i just started playing around there and it seems like a friendly community. as well,i've been using radio.com to get ideas to play on my station.

Blip doesn't really seem to work too well on my dial-up connection. It does look like fun, though.

[the internets have totally corrupted my spelling, i am disheartened to say. i now commit those homophonic errors that, heretofore -- not heartofore -- i wouldn't have, ever. alas.]

The internets have corrupted my language usage in general. Plus, my typing skills may be going downhill nowadays. Yay progress?
