Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, now apparently also known as Singles Awareness Day! You know what that means, don't you? It's time for The Cap'n's Unfortunate Valentine's Cards!

If you've never visited that link before, do go. It's sure to make you feel better.

If you still want to send someone a Valentine after that, my advice is likely too late this year, but next year you may want to send this love note or possibly this card for the holiday.

i very much admire the vulture card. we have vultures in my neighborhood now. someone in the subdivision started feeding the ones that came up from the agricultural center, and the birds began to flock here. one day recently my neighbor's trashcan had fallen over. when i opened my garage door to go out, there was a vulture in the driveway giving me the eye and a gang of others down in the road, tearing trashbags apart. it's a funny feeling to look up and see vultures on one's house, i tell ya.

I've decided that if I ever date again, I must date someone who appreciates the vulture card. If they dislike the vulture card, it is obviously not meant to be.
