Arghhhhhh

A couple days ago I finally found a way to open up my mouse and clean it without (I thought) doing it any damage.

Now I suspect that the dust inside was the only thing holding the mouse together.

Since the left mouse button is currently not actually working, I am having some little difficulty making my way around the internet. If you don't see me online for a few days--or if you do see me but I don't respond to you--please know that I'm okay, just trying to either find a new, working mouse or to get the current one working properly again.

Does duct tape play well with computer mice?

I probably have a different definition of "cheap" than you do--the cheapest I saw was $20. And why are there mice that cost over $100 nowadays? Do these special mice mix drinks and warm your slippers while you surf?

Those tend to be wireless and have lots of extra programmable buttons. Don't ask me why.

Here's a mouse that costs $6.

I know you said not to ask you why, but but but why?

I didn't see that one on sale at the stores yesterday, and waiting for Amazon--heck, searching at Amazon when I didn't have a reliable mouse--wasn't really an option. Alas, the price we pay for convenience!

It would seem so.

As for why, well...geeks like gadgets.
