My head hurts. My tummy hurts. I suspect at least one of these things is a medication side effect, which rather annoys me. Feet hurt too. The foot pain is probably unrelated to the drugs, though.

There was a Memorial Day weekend cookout arranged by

stardansr last Sunday, a lovely day with tasty food and delightfully crazy people. I would write in more detail--would have written about it days ago, actually--but have not been feeling up to the whole thinking-and-posting thing this week. Note to whoever made the baked beans: I didn't have the chance to tell you Sunday (mostly because I didn't eat any till eating leftovers Monday), but those were amazingly good. So yes, good food, good people, good weather, bad puns: a good day overall.

Back to the less-than-goodness of today... well, since I'm already on the lowest dose of the newer medication, skipping tonight's dose shouldn't cause any major trauma; and if it is what's behind the stomach problems, then maybe it will even be possible to eat without increasing pain or fear of throwing up tomorrow. I live in hope. Will do that, and call the neurologist's office in the morning. Sounds like a plan, anyway.

I love Memorial Day cookouts. It's not *really* the start of summer but it does signal a kind of new beginning. Hopefully the end of the dreary weather.

I hope you're feeling better tomorrow and able to eat something. You need to keep your strength up.

Memorial Day itself was very much like a typical DC summer day--it was our first Code Orange air quality day of the year. ::sigh:: I'm rather more a fan of spring and fall and winter, myself. :-)

Don't worry about the check until you get back. Only one person's paid me so far anyway, so for all I know I may end up pestering everybody for two months' worth at once later on in the month.
