For fans of Jim Butcher's Dresden Files books: If you don't already know about the special preview, then you should go to that link now (link via lingmao_rss). I've never read any of the Dresden Files books--perhaps that should change sometime this year?

There's a book called the Authoritarians which you might find of interest. I'll have to see if I can find the link.

I'd like to see a study on authoritarianism and paganism. The results might be interesting. I suspect there'd be an oddly high incidence of left-wing authoritarianism.

As a Christian, I probably don't know enough to speculate about left-wing authoritarian pagans. But I'm pretty sure the higher level politicians in the Democratic party include a few with some authoritarian tendencies, whatever their religious leanings may be.
