stripped to the grocery store
shooting a pistol, firing it,
but i know it if i were there in her own vivid blood.

i'll be late.
they lived in the stallion-land of argos,
no, the deathless ones will sweep you off your ovulation which ultimately
determines when your pocket has no heartbeat, only this constant whir.

(Note to HAL: Christmas was a week ago; and while pistols can make a nice celebratory noise as long as one is firing into the unoccupied air, some of us prefer fireworks. Still, I am relieved to learn that my pocket has no heartbeat. My life has enough complications for now.)
