In other news, I still have a cold. No fever (temps have ranged from 98.0° to 99.2° F), but oh am I full of mucus. Tired, too, but most of that is probably a result of not being able to breathe at all well through my nose when I lie down at night. Here's hoping this doesn't morph into bronchitis. Breathing is a good thing.

So, what do you all have planned for New Year's Eve? Not wanting to cough or sneeze on any of my friends (or strangers on the Metro, for that matter), I'm planning to spend the evening here in my room, possibly turning on the TV in time to watch a ball drop. Maybe I'll get to the library before it closes to check out whichever books look appealing at the time, though that depends on whether the body is willing to walk that far or not. We'll see what happens.

Hee! Typing is my one skill which could actually be useful in a career. Of course my hands can't be too cold (and they get cold & stiff easily), my coordination has to be reasonably good and unimpaired by recent seizure-related activity, and I can't sit still for very long because of muscle pain and fatigue. But yeah, for short bursts, my typing speed is darned impressive. ;-)
