Anyway, recently there have been a couple overly suspicious and cynical people in my world to whom I have wanted to say the following bumper-stickerish sentence:
But of course I am much too polite to ever say such a thing. Sometimes I wish I weren't.
Anyway, yesterday was one of those days when nature seems to have no idea which of the four seasons she wants to endorse, so we had December light with springlike temperatures and a mix of spring and autumn smells. I tried to go out and enjoy it, but after doing some morning vacuuming, my four limbs all felt like lead. Was so pathetically tired that when I did make it out to the library, nothing on the shelves appealed to me at all. Well, I still have half a dozen books checked out, so it's not like I'm lacking for reading matter.
Today I decided to scrub everything in the bathroom which looked obviously dirty with my glasses off, which, since I am rather excessively nearsighted, was... still too darn much, given how many other people have been dirtying the place up and how much gunk has decided to grow on the tiles. Oh well, at least I got something accomplished in there. Also made a phone call which I'd thought was vitally important but turned out not to matter much at all, except that it did provide me with some reassurance about something. Though I'm still fairly tired today, I hope to have enough energy to go out for a walk as soon as I'm finished eating lunch. From here, it looks like a lovely day.
