Happy October!

Friday: The government of my country demonstrated once or twice again that they hate our freedoms. But aside from that, it was a good day. Each bus I wanted to catch arrived at the time I was ready for it, even when it shouldn't have. The weather was lovely and cool and bright, perfect for walking about twice as long as I needed to in an unfamiliar--but perfectly pleasant--neighborhood. I may almost certainly will find an excuse to go walking around there again when I have nothing else to do. The only real downside Friday was that the EEG tech was a bit more forceful with her instruments than she had to be. It's been a long time since my last EEG, but I don't remember any blood loss back then. (If my forehead scars, I shall be annoyed.)

Saturday: Was there a Saturday? Was I awake for it? Oh yeah, I stayed inside reading & resting & ruminating. I must have needed it.

Sunday: More reading, to begin with. Sun & clouds played in the sky, so of course I wanted to go walking again. Fortunately I was feeling energetic again too, because I ended up missing the turn I'd intended to take and going around in circles a bit. A good day for wandering, definitely. Near sunset, greenish and leaden clouds loomed, with eerie lights and shadows. I looked west at the silver silhouettes. I looked east--and was compelled to stop a woman and small child in the middle of the sidewalk to make sure they saw the rainbow. (And this evening, a housemate was anxious to convince me that he is not weird. Oh, poor guy, if only he knew...)

The walk sounds lovely. I hope that you get a chance to enjoy that neighborhood again, soon.

I really hope I do get the chance to walk in some of the spots I only got to glimpse while I was there. There's just something about walking on a tree-lined trail next to a river... even if there is a major road stretching overhead.

Well, really, what are Saturdays for if it isn't forgetting them?

I think Saturdays are, or can be, for something else too, but I forget what it was.

Yes, there are times when you completely forget a day.
I can't remember my Saturday very well either :)

There are lots of days which might seem forgettable, but I usually try to remember something about them anyway. Even if it's only a good dream I had while I was sleeping!
