Notes
Note to paid users: If you don't follow the
paidmembers community and wondered what that little thumbtack thing is that's showing up today, go here for info on the new feature (which permanent members have been able to use for a while now).
And on a different kind of note: the song for the day is one my father used to sing as he cleaned the house--The Housewife's Lament. (Yes, it was Dad singing. Don't get me started on gender stereotypes.) This is the song that's been going through my head after yesterday's cleaning was followed by last night's return of housemates from wherever they went for their holiday weekend.
There's nothing that pays for
The time you waste on it,
There's nothing that lasts us
But trouble and dirt.
Yeah. That mud just piles on up, doesn't it?
