Although I still don't believe in astrology, there are some of you who do, so I warn you that Mercury's about to go retrograde. The linked site says helpfully that "Rather than hunkering down in your bunker, this is a positive time to tie up loose ends, reconnect with people from the past, make mechanical repairs and get systems in order. This can also be a productive period for psychological review as new information can be gleaned from old experiences."
For the record, your friendly neighborhood hummingwolf was born during a Mercury retrograde period.

musesfool for those of you interested in fandom in general: Brief History of Fandom Wankage - Older than you think. If the post entertains you, do read the comments. Perhaps perversely, the fact that there was a bit of flamage over Achilles/Briseis vs. Achilles/Patroclus made my day. Since most of my day consisted of me trying to find ways to keep the heat exhaustion from getting worse, that probably wasn't too hard.
