First off, why I do keep thinking this is Thursday? I slept in today, but I didn't sleep that long. It's Tuesday, I need to keep telling myself it is Tuesday--and that means tonight is House, M.D. night, right? Hooray!
That reminds me: fans of Robert Sean Leonard might be interested in
bironic's recent post about his performance at the Shakespeare Festival at Symphony Space (with more detail in the post here).
Unrelatedly, I think I want to become a better birdwatcher. Of course I recognize robins, pigeons, seagulls, and crows, as well as distinctive and brightly-colored birds like cardinals, blue jays, or goldfinches; but with the less flashy birds around here I'm often kinda clueless. That bird right there--is it a sparrow? Maybe a nuthatch? What specific kind of whatever it is is it? And do nuthatches try to hatch nuts? In my defense, it can be hard to tell what kind of bird I'm looking at when it's busy running away from a squirrel.
