Quick market day post
Second farmer's market I've been to this week! At the Thursday market, I am now well out of the realm of regular customer and into the realm of "We need to come up with an official-sounding title for you." It's an odd place to be, but a fun one.
First cherries of the season! First cherry tomatoes, too!
There was a wee downpour during the market today, inconveniencing a few customers & craft vendors and making the local farmers happy.
I seem to have acquired some lemon balm (melissa). Aside from the aromatherapeutic possibilities, does anyone have ideas for what I can do with it? I've already discovered that the lemony flavor goes well with cooked tomatoes.
There are thunderstorms passing by, so I'd better get offline soon. It's just as well, really; I spent too much time outside today and I really do need to get some sleep. Good night, everyone!
