Whew!
I managed to get things done in spite of a few obstacles--and with minutes to spare! Nice that the business day turned out not to be a total waste.
Some things are weird. I'd go into detail, but I'm too unfocused to point out the details right now.
As for the hallucinations mentioned earlier--it seems I'm not hearing things that aren't there so much as having my brain transmogrify sounds into different-yet-related sounds. For instance, the land line and cell phone sound completely different when they ring, yet when someone called the cell, I clearly heard the landline. How odd. (Note to self: Do try to get that appointment to have the brain scanned sometime in the not-too-distant future, okay? Now that one inconvenience is out of the way, it's time to investigate the body's needs again.)
