Woke up to the sound and scent of a cool breeze blowing rain through the trees. If you like rainy days, this is a gorgeous one--and with expected high much cooler than average for this time of year. Felt pleasantly drowsy as I thought about the day ahead. I had plans, things I wanted to do before the weekend begins, but no great anxiety about them.

After drinking my first cup of tea of the day, I went down to the kitchen to make some hot cocoa. Hot cocoa and hot tea are very much the beverages for this kind of weather! And I was calmly thinking it might be a good idea to have some toast, maybe fix myself an egg... and then it seemed to me a better idea to calmly walk to the bathroom so I could throw up all the morning's tea.

Bleah. Well, there go my plans for the day. But I still intend to drink this cocoa.

I actually had a doctor's appointment scheduled for today for other reasons... but now I'm thinking of canceling because I don't want to vomit on the bus. Yeesh.

Not that my tummy feels terribly unhappy now. but I was feeling okay when I woke up, too, so I don't trust it.

Yeesh. That's kind of worse, in a way. I hate feeling like I'm going to puke, but at least then you've got some warning & can plan to some extent.
