So yes, here's another journal entry.
Dear Diary: I haven't got much to say.
Seriously, the only noteworthy thing about yesterday was that last night's episode of House M.D. ruled my world. Such excellent, excellent television--and not just because of Hugh Laurie with his pretty blue eyes. Last night's blend of surrealism, snark, and general heart-wrenchingness was just what the doctor ordered.
Oh, one thing: I finally realized yesterday that, even though I have been pathetically sleep-deprived lately, the difficulty I've been having when trying to slog through more than two pages at a time may just be partly influenced by, y'know, the quality of the writing. Not that it's necessarily bad writing, but it's not particularly transparent to someone unfamiliar with the color theories of Barthes or Wittgenstein. Since this is me we're talking about, The Tao of Physics is a heck of a lot easier to get through anyway.
Right then. Last night I tried getting a full night's sleep, but ended up with a night full of Gregory House and people trying to drown me. (Clarification: Dr. House and the drowning incidents were in my dreams, not reality. As far as I could tell.) Well, at least there was something pleasant going on in there.
Today: Spent too much time staring off into space. Also spent more time than is good for me sitting in this chair. Bought stuff on sale in the personal hygiene section of the supermarket. zoopownsyou, who, for those who don't know, is an amazingly spiffy Quebecer and the first straight woman to ever write me drunken love poetry. Zoopie rocks!
Now I'm trying to decide if it's time to eat the rest of my frozen blueberries or if I should save those for tomorrow. Decisions, decisions.

Sad to say, none of my Hugh Laurie dreams have involved either snowboarding or werewolves. I'll have to convince my subconscious to do a better job of things, I guess.
