hummingwolf: Drawing of a creature that is part-wolf, part-hummingbird. (Hummingwolf by Dandelion)

It seems ridiculous to miss a party that's just half a mile away when just a few days ago I endured an abominably long bus ride to go hang out with people, but that's the way it is. Bah. Tension headache + mega-sleepiness = hermitlike hummingwolf. At least I got to hang out with folks on Wednesday and practice my true lifecalling of being a cat bed (the only allergic reaction I noticed was itchiness of the petting hands, at least until getting back outdoors and being assaulted by ambient pollen). I am feeling less headachy now than when I woke up this morning, so the daily diet of white grapefruit juice and dark chocolate M&Ms seems to be doing some good.

May the partiers have oodles and oodles of fun without me, and may the rest of you lot enjoy whatever the day is sending your way.

Well, you don't need to go out! You have people begging to come to you--people from other countries, even! You rock just that much.

Ambient pollution almost seems like an oxymoron, doesn't it? It reminds of of "aesthetically pleasing pollution", or something :)

I can relate to the hermit state. Finals, lack of sleep, money stress, traffic = hermitlike me.

I meant ambient pollen, that yellow stuff the trees keep sending out. Which may not technically be pollution, though it does get irritating to the wacky immune systems among us!

I did want to go out, except for the part where I didn't want to leave the room at all. Haven't left the house since Thursday. Here's hoping I can push myself to go enjoy some spring sunshine today.

And here's hoping your own stresses ease up a bit. How are finals going?

Today is truly spifftacular springtime weather. It's exactly the kind of thing I like!

I wish I'd been up to going to the party, but it really wasn't a good idea. At least I had a peaceful time here, listening to the rain fall, then hearing distant laughter and wondering if it was someone I knew. :-)

It is a BEAUTIFUL day, today. I hope that your allergies lighten up.

Finals = death, destruction, emotional mutilation

O.K. So maybe they're not *quite* that bad...but close!!! Finals will be going spectacular when the are all finished :) I may be taking the summer off. I think it's a good idea.

Ah, sorry about the death, etc. Taking the summer off sounds like an excellent idea indeed. :-)
