Honestly, this strip could almost be me talking to myself in the morning. People who have had AIM conversations with me before 9 a.m. (or after 11 p.m. or at odd moments during certain days of the month or anytime in the summer) will probably recognize the mental processes too. (I'm a little better in person, in that I usually confine myself to "Hello" and shut up after that point as I go in search of something decent to eat. There was a housemate once who actually tried to have discussions at 6 in the bloody a.m., but she is, sadly, no longer with us.)

No, I didn't kill her. Honest! Also, I have no idea why there were so many bloodstains on the carpeting in that room after she disappeared without a trace.

Seriously, I think she moved to another state. But the serious answer in this case is also a boring one.
