In actual, serious news: British author Geraldine McCaughrean has been chosen to write the official sequel to the story of Peter Pan. The working title is Captain Pan.

Okay, that wasn't terribly important news for most of you. Well, this isn't news so much, but it is serious: Barney the Inquisitor. Yes, it is much more serious than you might guess from the title.

oh, the gorilla in the bar thing is brilliant! i chuckled at the fundamentalist interpretation but began to laugh at the dispensationalist one. i once got a dispensationalist bible as a gift. didn't keep it long... :D

The one problem with that hermeneutics post is that those unfamiliar with the mindsets to think that it's exaggerated, very over-the-top. It really does show exactly how certain groups think, doesn't it?
