So for St. Patrick's Day, I am wearing a mostly-blue nearly-plaid shirt with a hint of green. I'm also drinking green tea, which may not be a traditional St. Patty's beverage but certainly would be if I were in charge of things.

Not getting much sleep lately thanks to pain around my rib cage from the long period of flu & bronchitis-related coughing. To show you how worried I was about this pain earlier this week, on Sunday & Monday I walked a total of about nine miles. (Did crash slightly on Tuesday, walking less than a mile total. Two miles yesterday, about a mile today because I felt like I was too close to sleepwalking to do much more. And don't worry--I've got a follow-up appointment at the doctor's scheduled next week, so if I've still got the sleep-disturbing pain then, I can discuss three annoying health issues rather than two.) For Pi Day, I ate a vegan shepherd's pie, because the food store I ended up in is the kind of place that sells such things along with organic tea, raw milk cheese, Fair Trade chocolate, and bulk herbs.

I'm trying to think linearly, but it's not working out too well right now. Maybe that's why I had the dream involving time travel & alternate universes a few nights ago.

Thank you!

And yeah, I'm in complete agreement. One question I have for my doctor is, "What the Hell happened to my immune system this winter, anyway?" Not expecting an answer, but I'm askin' the question.

9 miles over 2 days, mind you. It's been a few years since I did 9 in a single day. :-)
