And you suddenly realize why that mixture of butter, sugar, flavoring and such is given the names "icing" and "frosting" when looking out the window you could almost swear that the thick, wet snow was spread on with a kitchen knife.

Neat! I've never seen snow, but it sounds so pretty.

I have a very hard time even concieving of people who have never seen snow. You're a data point that I can't readily assimilate into my model of the universe. Just thought you should know.

Didn't [livejournal.com profile] xforge say a couple years ago that he had never seen snow? I'm not sure if he's had the chance to see it yet.

Yeah... I think I recall him saying something like that.

Hee hee! Well, it doesn't snow where I live (Florida) and I haven't ventured out the state at the right time of year. I still get amazed when I come across people who don't know what sea glass is. :)

I've never heard the term, but I surmise it's those sometimes very neat pebbles of glass sculpted, smoothed and rounded by the sea and sand.

Exactly! :)

Well, it's melting now, which makes it look very different! But I'm a big fan of snow. It's definitely one of the nicer things to fall from the sky.

My mother took several pictures of the snow in Connecticut when she was there recently. It was all sparkly and really beautiful. Some day... some day ....
