hummingwolf: Snowflake-like kaleidoscope images (Kaleidocoolth)

Sunday afternoon

Sunlight on brown trees, twisted limbs covered in snow. A herring gull flashes by, shining white. Cold blue sky with thin clouds subtly blending in so you cannot say for sure where each cloud begins, making me think of how I'd create that effect in various computer programs, which only shows that I'm a graphics geek.

or, I suppose, a herring gull geek.

Well, there are certainly enough gulls around here to make that geekery worthwhile. We may not be very near the sea, but we're close to plenty of parking lots.

I have a friend who can paint clouds. I should send him your way!

Oh, I don't know. It's kinda fun to figure things out on my own!

Sunlight on green palm trees, long trunks covered in ivy. A pigeon lumbers by, dull blue. Warm blue skies with no clouds to blend in, so you can say where each landing plane begins, making me think that I'm a plagarizing geek.

But you're a fun and friendly plagiarizing geek, which makes all the difference!

I love making a difference.

I love snow! I'm just not so fond of losing all feeling in my toes as I sit here in my bedroom.

If we skip all this, can we skip summer too? I might not mind missing winter so much if I never saw hot & humid weather again.
