If you are in the habit of asking yourself "What Would Jesus Do?" then you should be aware that, based on the available evidence, "Setting forth a rational systematic theology in simple declarative sentences" is never the right answer.

Different. Systematic theology can have a certain severe, crystalline beauty--but it doesn't really reflect the biblical texts all that well. Jesus certainly wasn't in the habit of giving straight answers to straight questions or resolving paradoxes in a tidy way.
