After spending much of yesterday either online or in bed trying to recover from spending so much time dealing with stuff and sitting in the dept. of human resources' lobby for far too long while coughing and/or having meltdowns, I had phone calls dealing with the various crises this morning (and was reminded of the Crisis E I had temporarily forgotten and couldn't do anything about this morning), got online for a few hours, received some help in dealing with one crisis, walked a total of something over two miles, partially dealt with a couple of crises but not entirely, treated myself to a chocolate chip cookie because I deserved it, dang it,

came home to a phone call which let me know, essentially, though she didn't know that that's what she was telling me, that if I do a few more things this weekend, if Crisis E doesn't blow up sooner than expected, if there is no health-related Crisis F after all this, if everybody else keeps their word, if nothing unforeseen happens, if I behave myself and do some things on Tuesday to make sure that i's are dotted and t's are crossed,

then after Tuesday I should be down to just one crisis.

Please pray, wish me luck, cross your fingers, whatever! At this point having just one crisis sounds like a wonderful dream.

I really did deserve that cookie.
