Word of the week
Word of the week: Gyaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!
Oh, sure, you tell me that that is not a real word; but I tell you that after this week, gyaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! really is the only word that will truly express my feelings toward the manifestations of bureaucracy I have to deal with.
It's amazing how some places can be such a fantastic mixture of truly, genuinely helpful people and beings who exist simply and solely to be obstacles to any measure of progress. And then there's the red tape itself, which is going to (continue to) be interesting to deal with. Hooray for requirements to fill out forms which have absolutely no relationship to my life as it is lived.
No, I still do not have a place to move to. Not even trying to make progress on that when I have to fight for the very basic things I've been receiving till now.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'm tired.
Anyway, aside from all that, I have been reading books, listening to music, and thinking Deep Thoughts. Don't you hate it when people say in their journals that they have been thinking Deep Thoughts but then won't tell you what those Deep Thoughts are? Yeah, you can deal with it. I'm feeling marginally more communicative now than I was a few days ago, but only marginally. Besides, I intend to repress these Deep Thoughts as soon as possible, hoping that they will be stored in a convenient place in my psyche so that I may retrieve them when they are needed.
Right then. Who out there is actually ready for Christmas?

Yeah, "Gyaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! loves company" is true, I think.

When it's all behind you; read Catch 22, but not now; you won't enjoy it up close and personal, I don't think.
I, for one, am ready for Christmas break.
Christmas?
Who cares?
It's a day spent at home reading with my pup.
