Misty morning, changing colors of the leaves peeping shyly through the grey. Sunny afternoon with temperatures in the humid low 70s (something over 22 degrees C), smells of woodsmoke and damp leaves with occasional pine needles blown in, trees showing off their coats of many colors. I went for a walk, of course. One of those little paths I never walked on till this year; then wandering a little while in, not a nice neighborhood, but a nice neighborhood, the kind where happy families live in houses you'd swear could house a good specialty museum; then back to regular nice neighborhoods and home. Oh, but this is after I went to the library.
After getting home, spent time reading and looking at Dr. Seuss Goes to War: The World War II Editorial Cartoons of Theodor Seuss Geisel (Horton hears a heil). Aside from the annoyance of an increasingly sore throat, it has been a good and peaceful day.

hi!
I wanted to say I like your writing. It's impressionistic and reminds me of the stuff I like to write best myself.
have a good day!
