Checking out Free Will Astrology this week, it looks like the theme Rob Brezsny has for my week is water. For Leo, my Moon & Ascendant sign:
and for Libra, sign of my natal Sun & three planets:
Feel free to comment that I'm all wet.
Whinge: After a bouncy Saturday enjoying the weather (I believe that local autumn began Saturday afternoon, blown in by those energizing breezes) and falling down stairs, Sunday found me pretty tired and Monday had me staying indoors all day, too wiped to leave the house. Yesterday I had to go to an office in order to find out that I didn't really have to go there after all--the form I was told I had to pick up had been delivered by other means. That little jaunt wore me out further, and now today I'm too physically kaplooey to go to physical therapy. (Called the office to cancel the appointment. They were nice enough to tell me today that I didn't have to pick up the form I went to get yesterday. Sigh.)
Have I mentioned lately that I'm sick & tired of being too sick & tired to go to the doctor (or PT)? 'Cos I am, really I am.
There was more for me to complain about here, but I'd really rather not. All it amounts to is "I'm tired. I'm overwhelmed. I'm tired. I'm stressed. I'm tired. I can't do this. Did I mention that I'm tired?"
Hey Rob, your abundant vitality, sapphires, and rubies sound lovely, but can you tell me where to get a cheap lifejacket?
The Guinness Book of World Records says the shortest river in the world is the Roe River in Montana. Measuring about 220 feet long, it flows into the Missouri River, America's second-longest river. The Roe River's source is the Great Springs, which is the largest fresh water spring in the U.S. It's 3,000 years old, stays a constant 54 degrees, and pours out 200 million gallons of water per day. I'd like you to picture this entire scene in your mind's eye, Leo-the Roe River, the Missouri River, and the Great Springs. It provides a symbolic template for what your approach should be in the coming weeks. You should be a short and concise connecting link between an underground source of abundant vitality and a free-flowing force of nature that reminds you of a mighty river.
and for Libra, sign of my natal Sun & three planets:
During last year's monsoon season in Sri Lanka, floods caused landslides in and around Ratnapura, the "City of Gems." As devastating as this natural disaster was, it dredged up many raw gems from their hiding places deep in the earth. After the heavy rains stopped, sapphires and rubies were strewn across the landscape for any passer-by to pick up. I foresee an analogous sequence operating in your life, Libra. The deluge will expose valuable beauty, making it easy to pluck.

At least this way I get to spend the afternoon after lunch making more phone calls. Here's hoping one or more of those leads to something helpful.

Boy, does this ever sound familiar to me. I'm not quite sure exactly what you're going through (I hate it when people tell me that they know exactly how I feel because...guess what?...the DON'T) but I believe I've uttered very similar sentiments several times over the past five or six years. All that I can tell you to do is to hang in there.

Thanks for the comment, though. And I'm with you on people not knowing what others are going through (that's been one of my occasional rants through the years). But it is nice to know that other people have survived.

Yes. I have survived. I don't always know how I have which is why I'm terrible at giving advice other than "hang in there".
