Lovely August day, with temperature in the very low 70s, low humidity, breezy, partly cloudy. Low 70s. Low humidity. In August. You had better believe I've given the new shoes a workout already. Man. Temp might go up to 75 or so, and they think tonight's low temperature might break a record.

The high is in the mid 80's here in Houston. Much better than the 114 stuff we had last week.

Mid-80s are a good temperature for summer. 114? That's a good temperature for frying eggs on the sidewalk! I'm glad you're having better weather now too.
