It's true--if you had an LJ during the time period, you've probably noticed that comment notifications from late June or mid-July are just now getting mailed to you. This is because LJ had mail problems for a while which are finally getting fixed. They said back when the problems started that once the issues were resolved, the old comment notifications would be sent--so be reassured by the fact that the LiveJournal team kept their word and look at the new/old comments as a sort of time capsule.

A comment I just received reminded me of one of my favorite quotes from last month:
"Reality is such a double-crossing bastard that if it were a person, I might Stop Talking to it." (from hai_kah_uhk)
