Am sleepy. Have doctor's appointment today. Have another doctor's appointment tomorrow. Have other stuff that needs to be done & am not sure there's any way for me to do it. Gah.

Urgh...don't we just HATE doctor's appointments? Good luck with them CB. Let me know how they goes.

You see, last week we had troubles with the plumbing in the bathroom downstairs. Literally, it exploded. I never liked that bathroom, but I like it even less with torn panels and dirt everywhere. So I'm redoing it.

Today, I'm emptying it, scrapping the old wallpaper and starting to apply color number one.

Tomorrow, I shall be done with all the painting.

Thursday, I shall put everything back and clean it all.

New bathroom for a 100 canadian...not bad. I'm taking before and after pics.

I was taking a break now to search the place for a star screwdriver, but I see I'll have to go ask the neighbors now.

I guess you decided not to send me that update after all?

I'll send it to you in a second. Most big gossips got public real quick anyway....I hung out with big mouths apparently:)

Yes, we do. At least today's appointment is close by.

It exploded? Sheesh, at least your life isn't boring, but couldn't you have gone for a fun kind of excitement?

That helps a lot. I'm lucky enough to have my hosto within walking distance. Makes a lot of difference.

Yep...exploded...Water and mud just splashed through the frigging walls. We had to redo the entire plumbing. A 1K we really didn't have.

We were considering leaving it alone. The issue is, though, it was in such a bad shape it took away value for the house. So the 100 bucks investment will give us back a few Ks at least.

And damn I totally underestimated the work it'd be to take off that old wallpaper after it has spent like 20 years stuck to the wall.
