Extremely exhausted, though not quite exanimate. Toyed with the idea of calling 911 because I can't think of any other way to get to a doctor when this tired.

I'd better feel better tomorrow.

In other news, it's been days since I heard a cicada singing. I'm not used to being able to hear all these other noises I keep hearing. It's odd.

New housemates. So far, they seem pleasant.

Will now go eat banana.

I think the banana helped, but not enough. Gah. I really was hoping that I could deal with my lack of energy through eating lots of high-potassium foods, but it doesn't seem to be working out that way.

I think the adult cicadas just die rather than burrowing. It's the immature cicadas that end up going into the ground, though I'm utterly failing to remember how they manage to get several feet underground under their own power.
