hummingwolf: Drawing of a creature that is part-wolf, part-hummingbird. (Hummingwolf by Dandelion)

For those who haven't had the chance to notice...

Been feeling very loopy lately. Last few days, so very tired, feeling constantly on the verge of migraine. I'd blame sleep deprivation, but been sleeping rather a lot. Could be anemia or hypokalemia or something--if it's a dietary problem, I hope to begin remedying it tomorrow after grocery shopping.

In the meantime, am in a continuing altered state of consciousness where I see vivid images every time I close my eyes. Many of the images have been simply odd. The flash I got yesterday of a naked James Marsters was pretty.

Anyway, though I know I made one or two intelligent comments yesterday, I would like to apologize for any odd and disjointed comments I've made today. Here's hoping I can get my mental state under control in the near future.

Uh oh, I haven't noticed from your writing but I hope you'll be back to your old self soon.

Thanks! Though I'd kinda like to get back to a new self. A new self without all these annoying health problems would be a good change of pace.

Fancy way of saying "low potassium." In the past, low potassium levels and low iron levels in my blood have both been correlated with low energy levels, so I'm thinking that one or both of those might be a problem now. At least, that's what I'm hoping. I prefer it when my health annoyances are actually *treatable.*

Dang it, why do you get all the fun vivid mental images? Mine usually involve severe trauma to my cerebral cortex.

The one I'm willing to share was of me bouncing off the railing on the side of a bridge and falling into traffic. Head gets squashed like a watermellon in a Sledge-O-Matic under the wheels of a Mack.

Well, most of my mental images haven't been so fun. Though I'll admit, several of the images the last few days have involved nekkid people--unfortunately, most of those nekkid people were not my type, being either female or just icky. But yesterday's nekkid JM was rather nice.

Sorry about your squashed head.

In honor of tonight's Angel ep, I'm changing my choice of words.....

Are you on any new drugs, or a new batch of some old ones?

Try not to dimension shift away too far.

Nope, the general malaise and altered mental state appear unrelated to pharmaceuticals. Since I felt noticeably better after drinking lots of Gatorade, I'm thinking it may be a good day to stock up on high-potassium foods.
