Hey, guess what I got today?

GRRRRR.

Am in process of removing it, yes. And trying to figure out (A) how it happened (this never happened with my old machine) and (B) how to keep it from happening again.

I actually had a different variety than the one mentioned in the article, but made by the same people. Or something like that. And I discovered that some of the files I'd thought were part of the same program were really a different variety of spyware that got dumped on me at the same time as the first. Evilware comes bundled now! Who knew?
