Note to my fellow Americans: READ THIS.

Whether you agree with the legislation or not, it's best you know about it.

Already read it, but...

Time to start putting our money in mayonnaise jars again, I guess. ;^)

Hah! I can escape their nefarious schemes--I don't have money!

Oh, but I do have food stamps. They can scrutinize my food purchasing patterns and compare them to the patterns of known terrorists. Good thing I bought pork sausage recently, so they'll know I'm not an Islamic terrorist.

The pork route won't work.

The 9-11 guys spent the night before in a titty bar, drinking and putting 5-ers into stippers. That violates a bunch of Islam's rules.

The occasional sausage is not going to deter these guys, or fool the government.

I need to go read the source material for Vidicon's posts. He tends to go off a bit strong at times, without all the evidence.

Okay, that's just fucking scary. Never thought I'd be nostalgic for the days when I hated Darth Ashcroft because he was a Christian right-winger and I didn't want him in charge of certain things that affect women.

Yeah, the pork bit was mere speculation on my part. What I do know is that they have analyzed purchasing patterns of known terrorists and are capable of comparing those patterns of trivial expenditures to the patterns of other folks. Sadly, the only detail I remember is that terrorists were highly likely to order pizza deliveries by credit card.

Yeah, I'd like to see any source material as well. If you uncover anything interesting, I'll gladly read it.

I understand people who work to protect unborn children from murder when they believe that murder is going on; whether I agree with them or not, I can appreciate the desire to preserve life. When they're up front about it, I may disagree with some of their views, but I can respect them. What I don't appreciate are politicians who work to destroy a Constitution and a republic they've sworn to uphold. These people make me sick.

Those guys should put everything on a credit card, and buy everything. No need to pay up after jihad.

Oh, I don't begrudge anyone the right to have an opinion on hot-button issues like that one, even if theirs differs from mine. What bothered me about him back then was that he did seem to begrudge people that right, and I didn't trust him to not take advantage of his office to make his personal beliefs into law. I mean, if the bloody President is doing it...

But it doesn't matter than much anymore since he's set his sights higher. After all, cracking down on a women's issue only gives him the chance to make half of the population bend over.
