Faint stirrings of a holiday spirit

Well, I didn't think there were enough green pieces to do it, but somehow I managed: Today I made and decorated a little LEGO Christmas tree. Hmm... all my little LEGO people appear to be male. Yet if I'm creative, there may be a way to put pieces together for a Nativity scene anyway...

In other news, you'll have to look for other news elsewhere as today was yet another day I didn't leave the house. Not as much coughing as yesterday, so that's a plus.

Yay for your Lego tree!

I didn't mention some of the details of my creation. Since I don't have a Lego angel or star to put on top, there's a Lego parrot there instead. And down at the base of the tree waiting for some presents is a little Lego rat!

LEGO RAT! So cool.

I just nipped over to eBay and bought some to display here. They called them "rats," too, not just "mice."

Hooray! I've got two little grey rats (they came with a set that was deeply discounted, so I got two). If I ever do a Nativity scene, animals must include rats, parrots, a dragon, and a dinosaur. Strangely, I have no donkeys.
