In recent days, I finally came out of de Nile about two things and am now, well, scared about reality as you might expect. I had to post this now because of the track Launchcast chose to play for me just now, of course.

Also, survived a holiday with family and am now thoroughly exhausted. But everyone survived, in spite of someone who wasn't me playing with potentially lethal weapons. More details later--for now, a little light reading followed by sleep.

Well, I slept. Not feeling all that rested up yet, but the Launchcast fan station for the Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields was kind enough to play me lots of Bach and a little Vivaldi this morning which helped muchly.

yeah, that music can help. aol has been playing ren & baroque stuff for me for days. it's very calming. we need calming right now. the weekend is passing all right, but i can feel our anxiety building. at least by tomorrow noon we'll know what's ahead.

wish some sunshine would break through, don't you? yesterday was so grim-looking, and today doesn't promise much better. know any dances to bring out the sun?

So far I'm still struggling my way through the reeds surrounding de Nile, so sandstorms haven't been a problem yet. Thanks for the good luck wishes, though; I need what luck I can get.
