hummingwolf: Drawing of a creature that is part-wolf, part-hummingbird. (Hummingwolf by Dandelion)

Made a phone call. Yay! Managed to speak almost-coherently, even. I'm not sure I'll be good for anything else today, though, since sheer blinding panic was only delayed rather than evaded. Gahhhhh.

Here's hoping I manage to make at least one more phone call today. Ow, a bad headache just hit as I was typing.

Why isn't curling up in a fetal position and whimpering for a few hours considered a good way to deal with anxiety, anyway?

Celebrate my trademark violation with me.

I wonder if we'll be threatened with a lawsuit. Hey, I bet this'll be the first of many. Better enjoy it before the novelty wears off! Can I plead insanity to trademark infringement?

Ooh, Dandelion in the big time! Could be interesting. I don't know if insanity is considered a good defense when you're being accused of trademark infringement, but it could be a fun defense to use anyway.

I could certainly play the part. Especially while under the influence of caffeine and second-hand smoke.

I looked at the website just now. It's a woman who gives advice on tech products and claims an audience of 3 million. Minions is likely to sell, what, 40 copies? 50? Sure, the other Gadget Grrl could squash me like an ant, but it'd be akin to squashing an ant. And she's not even in comic books. Sheesh.

I've got doubts that she even has a case. She's in a different business entirely than your Gadget Grrl is. Of course I'm no lawyer, but it seems to me that for a trademark violation to take place, the two people using the same mark should be in the same trade.

Whoever said it wasn't? but yeah, it really should be included in self-help books.

Indeed. Silly self-help book writers, never tell us what we really need to know.

/me offers HW the use of a purring feline to curl up around. Boosts the effectiveness and shortens duration of needed curling-up time.

Thank you, Andi. Having a purring feline to curl up around sounds like just what I need.

Try throwing stuff on the walls...it often helps me deal with the anxiety.

Heheheh. When the landlord's already thinking it might be a good idea to kick me out, throwing stuff on the walls probably isn't the wisest thing for me to do. It's a fun thought, though.

Then you might want to consider throwing the landlord on the walls!

It bloody well should be.

Are you OK?

Are you OK?

Not really, but I've been worse. Thanks for asking!
