Two nights in a row of slightly less than six hours of sleep. Bleh. I'd like to get more of those eight-hour nights, please. Where do I place my order?

Spent the earliest part of this morning listening to music and avoiding logical thought.

Spent the past few hours in my head, analyzing myself and my life situation.

Have now come to the conclusion that my first response was the right one for the day. If you don't see me online after this, it's because I'm busy listening to music or watching TV (Saturday is Buffy-n-Angel rerun day around here), organizing my food stockpile ("If there's a nuclear war or an apocalypse," said a housemate last night, "I'll know where to go for dried fruit and canned tomatoes"), and thinking lots of happy non-thoughts.

Have a great day, everyone!

I think the problem with that theory is that my body doesn't seem to have sleeping habits. It's got fads and trends, but nothing so settled as to be called a "habit."

Grfle. I know I feel better if I get 7 or 8 hours of sleep on a regular basis. At least, I used to. Maybe that's changed now, but if there's a different amount of sleep that'd make me feel better these days, I haven't found it yet.
